Ten cards from Lewis. Most are one tap. For Andy.
When a caller mentions real danger, Holly stops the normal call and uses fixed safety words. None of this is live yet, and none of it goes live until you have approved the exact words on every card here. Whatever you record goes into the project record word for word.
A caller says someone is unconscious, has collapsed, or is struggling to breathe.
If someone is unconscious, has collapsed, or is struggling to breathe, call 999 right now.
If you're in the cellar, get everyone you can out into fresh air and stay out.
Call 999 first — this line can't send an ambulance. When you've done that, let the Morepour team know what's happened.
Change something needs a line in your own words before it can be recorded, so we record exactly what you want changed.

A caller in the cellar says they feel faint, dizzy, sick or short of breath, or mentions feeling odd while they are down there. The same words are used whether they come straight out with it or it comes up in passing.
Straight away, Holly says:
Stop what you're doing and leave the cellar now — get yourself into fresh air and stay out.
Then she asks:
Are you able to get out of there right now?
If they say yes, they can get out:
Good — go now, and stay out.
If you feel worse, or anyone else feels unwell, call 999 straight away.
If they say they can't get out:
If you can't get out, call 999 right now — don't wait, and tell them exactly where you are.
If the answer is unclear:
If there's any doubt at all, treat it as urgent: call 999 now, and get out the moment you can.
If something new or worse comes up mid answer (someone collapses, say):
Call 999 right now.
Get anyone you can out into the fresh air, and don't go back in.
If for any reason the question never gets asked, she says:
If you feel worse, or anyone else feels unwell, call 999 straight away.

A caller mentions a gas problem outright: a leak, a hiss from the gas, a CO2 problem.
Straight away, Holly says:
Leave the cellar and get into fresh air now. Don't try to fix anything on the gas before you go.
Then she asks:
Are you able to get out of there right now?
If they say yes, they can get out:
Good — go now.
Once you're out, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
If anyone feels unwell, call 999.

A caller mentions a smell that could be gas, without saying the word leak. Very close to the last card, with one difference: the opening line is shorter.
Straight away, Holly says:
Leave the cellar and get into fresh air now.
Then she asks:
Are you able to get out of there right now?
If they say yes, they can get out:
Good — go now.

Line cleaner or another chemical has gone on someone's skin or into an eye.
Rinse the affected area with plenty of clean running water straight away, and keep rinsing for a good fifteen minutes.
If it's in your eye, hold the eye open under gently running water.
If the stinging carries on or your sight is affected, call 999 or 111 straight away.

Something electrical looks or sounds dangerous: sparks, a burning smell from a plug, someone has had a shock.
Don't touch the equipment or any of the wiring. If you can do it safely at the wall, switch the power off at the socket.
If anyone has had a shock, call 999.

A caller is about to adjust a valve, regulator or the gas pressure themselves, or asks whether they should.
Please don't adjust the valve, regulator or pressure yourself — leave it exactly as it is.
That needs a trained person's hands. If you hear a hiss or anyone feels unwell, leave the cellar and get into fresh air.

Anything else that sounds like real danger but does not fit the situations above.
To be safe, stop what you're doing with the equipment. If you're in the cellar, step out into fresh air.
If anyone feels unwell, call 999.

Whichever card applies, Holly always ends the safety conversation the same way, with this line, and then ends the call so the caller can act on what she has said.
I'm going to end the call now so you can do that. Everything you've told me is logged and flagged for the team right away.

One last line. If anything ever cuts a safety instruction short mid call, Holly adds this, so a caller is never left without a safe instruction. It is deliberately general so it is safe in every situation.
To be safe, move away from the area and get into fresh air, and if anyone feels unwell call 999 straight away.

All ten recorded. That's it, thank you.
